Essential courtship couture

Do you know someone who needs a shirt like this? Get if for them as a gift and then watch potential vultures screech in fear as they realise someone is onto their dirty little game...

Back... and it still fits!

Blame the election result, blame being busy, blame being broke... it doesn't matter what you blame because it's all completely irrelevant as non vintage apparel rises from the dead - One big poker windfall and a one-time shelved T-shirt project gets the green light! Like I said many moons ago... watch this space...

Kevin-oh-seven!

No prizes for guessing who I'm going to be voting for. I couldn't care less what happens to the monobrowed polesmoker who's currently in power after this election. This shirt will be the best seven bucks spent ever. Click here for details.

One for the Ladies

This neat design is indicative of Keeley Carrigan's playful style which draws heavily on the American designer's childhood. While this one might be for the fairer sex, he's got some pretty nifty bloke's designs available too. Check it out at www.blooempire.com

Nude tunnellball anyone?

For those who didn't spend their primary schooling in Australia, tunnellball was (or should I say, is) a popular team sport where the goal was to send a ball thundering down between your team members' legs - I remember being part of a winning Year 4 team that absolutely caned everyone at the event including the older kids. Oh the memories.

Anyhow, a friend of mine is laying the game out bare for all to enjoy...

>>>

The movement is now underway. A campaign for Nude Tunnelball to become an Olympic sport. Yes, I know, it's high time it was. I mean, really... how many years have we been playing it?

"But what can I do to help realise this dream?", I hear you ask. Well, you can do your bit for the movement by purchasing one of our high-quality, cool and groovy, fresh and funky, limited edition t-shirts.

Options follow... pics are attached.

1. Mens Ringer T - choc brown, bone trim - M/L (pictured)
2. Girls Cap-Sleeve V-neck - choc brown - 10/12/14 (pictured)

Sizes are standard, so whatever you normally wear will work.

A$25 each plus postage if req'd.

Let me know by return email if interested... I will organise shirts once I have the numbers in, so it may be a few weeks before delivery to you.

Still toiling away

Things pretty quiet in NVA land on account of a busy period at work. Still working on designs for the coming shirts and got some tops coming in the mail that I'll share with you all once they arrive. Keep safe everyone!

Asian t-shirt purchases

While overseas, I bought a fair few t-shirts - admittedly some of it was out of necessity as Singaporean humidity can race through multiple tees in a single day. Sadly a lot of the stuff I bought without trying turned out to be one size too small, so those Singha and Chang tops in M are write-offs and strictly for wear around the house. However, I did pick up this cool Nike top commemorating the closing of Singapore's national stadium. Yes I know Nike has a bad track record for using workshop workers but in all honesty, I think it's a little unfair blaming just them: there are plenty of other equally shady businesses violating laws left, right and centre. Anyhow, as well as being a nice fitting and feeling shirt, it makes for a nice Singaporean souvenir that doesn't scream "Look at me! I'm a Singaporean souvenir!" or have a tacky image of the Merlion on it - though the mythical creature native to Singapore is one cool cat.

Message in a Bottle

Message in a Bottle

Stumbled across thie really eye-opening article on bottled water. Admittedly, when travelling to certain countries, you have to buy bottled water as a matter of health, but for those who purchase bottled water to drink around the home when tap water is readily and freely available, this might be of interest.

Maiden release update

It looks like it'll take about six weeks until the first "vintage" takes place at NVA HQ. At present, we're in the middle of ironing out a few problems and finalising certain aspects of the shirts so if you want to ensure you keep abreast of all goings-on at NVA HQ, be sure to scroll down the right hand column and sign up for the Top Secrets newsletter.

Oh, and do you remember those inklings I had about American Apparel tshirts shipping a little too big? Turns out I was right after reading similar comments on other blogs, so remember: purchase AA gear one size up as they'll no doubt shrink in the wash - if only I hadn't gotten my yellow Donkey Kong shirt in size medium!

Back from holiday in Asia

Sorry about the lack of activity at NVA HQ but a week long holiday in Asia will do that to you! And when the hotel you're staying at has a wet bar that's within doggy paddling distance of your room (I'm not kidding here), lazy mornings can quickly evaporate into lazier afternoons and nights...
